May you rest in peace, Reggie, Although we were not personal friends in high school, our families shared much over the years, as you walked a different path. You were recognized for your love, committment, and dedicated service to Africa, using your doctorate in economics to benefit the lives of others. You were recognized for dedicating your life and life's work to our land of origin through your homegoing service at Howard University that was standing room only! You are an African jewel to behold and will always be remembered for your life's work and dedication. Your classmate, Wanda Franklin (Watson)

I admired you for your perseverance and love of Africa. You were determined to learn and master the French language. Africa was dear to your heart, you studied the culture and traditions, and you worked hard to make a real difference in the lives of its people. I miss you.
